IVT Renewal

Hi!

So yeah, it's the time of the year again, wherein it is almost my birthday and I am In the time again that I need to fulfill my duty as a Registered Nurse in renewing all my almost expired licenses (PRC and IVT License), whether or not, you are practicing your profession or Not.

I do not have a problem renewing my PRC license since I always renew it on time., but I have a HUGE problem with my IVT (Intravenous Therapy) license.

 Why?

1. My IVT Identification card was lost 5 years ago, leading to problem Number

2. I failed to replace the card and Renew it.

Not that I didn't do anything for the past years, I tried to check what I should do, and that includes preparing an Affidavit of loss and retaking my IVT course!!(since I failed to renew it in due time).

Oh well, Retaking IVT Course, we all know how intense the Training was, so I lose hope that I can still renew my license without taking the First stage again.

Last Jan 21, 2015: Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines released new rules in renewing the License.

You have an option to just Retake the IVT course again or just attend IVT refresher course. 

Here is ANSAP New policy on Card Renewal.

You need to renew your license, every 3 years. You need 24 CEU (Continuing Education Units), that will be 8 units in a day.

My license was expired last 2013, aside from preparing my Affidavit of Loss, I need 6 updates for me to be able to renew my Card. 

I will be attending my first 3  IVT refresher course by AESCULAP ACADEMY this coming Feb 09 - 11. I paid a total of 2100 for 3 days.
